About us

Two founders with roots in The Gambia and lives in the UK

We started Unique Student Recruitment because we saw talented students let down by agents who promised too much. We know both sides: the families paying the fees and the universities deciding on offers.

How we work

Our promises to you

We follow the UK Agent Quality Framework, the code of practice UK universities expect their agents to follow.

  • Honest advice, even when it is "not yet"If your funds or grades are not ready, we tell you and help you plan for a later intake.
  • We never guarantee a visa or an offerUniversities make offers and the UK Home Office decides visas. Anyone who promises otherwise is not being truthful.
  • Clear fees, written downYou see every charge before you agree to anything. Universities pay us when a student enrols, and we tell you that.
  • Real documents onlyWe check bank statements and certificates, and we will not submit anything false.
  • Your data is safe with usPassports and financial documents are stored securely and used only for your application.

Questions

What students and parents ask us most

Do I have to pay you to apply to a UK university?

No. Help choosing universities and making applications is free. The university pays us a commission if you enrol. You only pay for extra services you choose, such as personal statement support, and you see the price first.

Can you guarantee me a visa?

No one can. The UK Home Office decides every visa. What we do is make sure your funds, documents and study plan are in order before you apply, which gives you the best chance.

How much money do I need to show?

Your first year's tuition (minus any deposit paid) plus living costs of £1,171 a month outside London, or £1,529 a month in London, for up to 9 months. The money must be in the account for at least 28 days. We will go through this with you.

I'm a parent or relative in the UK. Can I sponsor a student?

Yes, many of our families do. We can speak with you directly, explain the costs, and help you understand which documents the student will need from you.

When should I start?

For a September 2027 start, speak to us now. Applications open in the autumn and the best courses fill early. It also gives you time to take an English test and prepare your funds.

Do you help students from Senegal?

Yes. Many UK universities offer foundation and pathway courses with English language support for students whose first language is French.
